Directions

 

 

  1. Measure the rice and wash rice until the water is clear. Measure water, twice the amount of rice and set aside rice and water.

  2. Heat oil in a pot and turn the heat to medium-low. Add whole spices and stir for 30 seconds.

  3. Add garlic and diced onions and stir until onions turn golden brown.

  4. Add diced beetroot and rice and stir for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Add the measured water, curry powder, salt and paprika. Stir and let it cook on medium heat until the rice is soft. Add water if needed.

  6. Serve and enjoy with a side of salad or yogurt!!
