Directions

Measure the rice and wash rice until the water is clear. Measure water, twice the amount of rice and set aside rice and water.

Heat oil in a pot and turn the heat to medium-low. Add whole spices and stir for 30 seconds.

Add garlic and diced onions and stir until onions turn golden brown.

Add diced beetroot and rice and stir for 1-2 minutes.

Add the measured water, curry powder, salt and paprika. Stir and let it cook on medium heat until the rice is soft. Add water if needed.

Serve and enjoy with a side of salad or yogurt!!
