Mason Jar Ramen

Ingredients:

2 tbsp chili garlic sauce 

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp miso paste

1/2 cup cubed tofu 

1/2 carrot shredded 
1/2 cup kale 
50g  rice vermicelli noodles
1 tsp sesame seeds

Ingredients:

2 tbsp chili garlic sauce 

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp miso paste

1/2 cup cubed tofu 

1/2 carrot shredded 
1/2 cup kale 
50g  rice vermicelli noodles
1 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

1. Layer in sauces, veggies, tofu, and noodles in a glass jar.

2. When ready to eat pour boiling hot water into the jar. Let sit for 3 minutes for the noodles to soften.

Fully Make at Home Version:

  1. Start by draining the tofu. Next cube it and use a paper towel to dry the tofu.

  2. Next heat a generous amount of olive oil in a pan on medium heat and fry tofu until golden brown. 

  3. Season to desired taste.

  4. Layer in sauces, veggies, tofu, and noodles in a glass jar.

  5. When ready to eat, pour boiling hot water into the jar.

  6. Let it sit for 3 minutes for the noodles to soften

  7. Stir and Enjoy!!

Vegan Alternative: To 'veganize' this recipe leave out the chicken, cheese, and sour cream!  Add extra black beans for more protein!
