Directions

Note: This Recipe is for recreating the meal at home, start to finish! Directions do not perfectly match what is on the meal card pictured below!

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.

  2. To make sauce: add butter, sliced onions, and garlic to a large pot over medium heat. Cook this for about 3 minutes until onions are soft. Next stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.

  3. Reduce heat to low! Next add the milk and broth. Continue to stir until the mixture is smooth.

  4. Once you have added all of the liquid to the pot, bring to a boil over medium heat white continuing to stir. Add salt/pepper if you prefer and let it boil for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Next find a 9"x13" baking dish and grease or spray it. Put 1/3 of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the pan. Pour 1/3 of the sauce on top.

  6. Repeat the potato/sauce layer two more times with the remaining ingredients.

  7. Cover the pan with tinfoil and bake for 45 minutes.

  8. Uncover and bake for another 40 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and tender. Broil for 3 minutes for a golden top.

  9. Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before serving!

  10. Enjoy!
