Directions
Note: This Recipe is for recreating the meal at home, start to finish! Directions do not perfectly match what is on the meal card pictured below!
-
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
-
To make sauce: add butter, sliced onions, and garlic to a large pot over medium heat. Cook this for about 3 minutes until onions are soft. Next stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
-
Reduce heat to low! Next add the milk and broth. Continue to stir until the mixture is smooth.
-
Once you have added all of the liquid to the pot, bring to a boil over medium heat white continuing to stir. Add salt/pepper if you prefer and let it boil for 1-2 minutes.
-
Next find a 9"x13" baking dish and grease or spray it. Put 1/3 of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the pan. Pour 1/3 of the sauce on top.
-
Repeat the potato/sauce layer two more times with the remaining ingredients.
-
Cover the pan with tinfoil and bake for 45 minutes.
-
Uncover and bake for another 40 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and tender. Broil for 3 minutes for a golden top.
-
Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before serving!
-
Enjoy!
